Our head office is in Tangerang, an hour from central Jakarta. Our own technicians do the fitting, not a third party, and every installation is registered for an e-warranty.
Our work in Jakarta
Both projects below are photographed, by our own team, on site. The captions describe only what the photographs show.
The same tower has a corner office with two glass walls. Desks sit against the glass all afternoon. The film there is in the sun during the hottest hours of the day.
A waiting area in the same building has bench seating right against the glass. Daylight is kept in the room, and the heat stays outside.
The photographs of the installation show our own technicians, in NanoShade shirts, fitting the film. No subcontractor was used. The finish is clean at the edges, with no bubbles and no dust.
TopGolf Jakarta is in Fatmawati, Jakarta Selatan. The film there is on canopy glass and skylight glass, across the venue.
The canopy glass is overhead and is in full midday sun. The film was fitted panel by panel.
The skylight panels were reached from scaffolding. The film was fitted while the venue stayed open.
How a job in Jakarta is done
Two processes, one for cars and one for buildings and houses. They are different from the first message onward, so this page describes them separately.
Cars: you come to the workshop
There is no site visit for a car. Send us the make, model and year on WhatsApp. We recommend a shade for each window, you choose the film, and the quote comes from the model and the film.
The installation is done at our workshop in Cikokol, Tangerang, by our own technicians. Dust between the film and the glass stays there for as long as the film is on the car, so we do not fit car film in a car park or on the street.
From central Jakarta the workshop is about an hour by toll road. You come once, for the installation.
Every car installation is registered for the e-warranty. You activate it on our warranty page within 30 days, and the certificate arrives by email.
Every film in the range stays clear to see through after dark, so the choice of shade is about light, privacy and appearance, not about night driving.
Buildings and houses: we come to you
A quote for a building or a house follows an on-site survey. The survey is a scheduled, paid visit. It is always paid.
At the survey we measure the glass, check which way each side faces, note the glass type, and record anything that changes the specification. West and east glass rarely need the same film as north and south. You receive a film named per side, with its published figures.
The quote comes with a work sequence. We fit zone by zone, so a floor stays in use while we work, and most rooms are back in use the same day. Work outside normal hours can be agreed at the survey if that suits the building.
Our own team travels from Tangerang for the survey and again for the installation. The distance changes our travel time, not your process.
Every installation is registered, and the e-warranty certificate arrives by email.
What you prepare before the survey
- The address and the type of building: office, shop, apartment or house.
- Roughly how much glass is involved, and which sides of the building the glass is on.
- Access: who opens the door for our surveyor, and the hours the building allows a contractor to work.
- For an apartment or an office tower, ask the building management what they require from a contractor, and send it to us before the visit.
- What bothers you most: heat, glare, fading, privacy or all of them. That changes which film we name.
Where we cover in Jakarta
Our own team reaches all of Jakarta and the rest of Jabodetabek from the office in Cikokol, Tangerang. There is no NanoShade office inside Jakarta. The office is about an hour from the centre of the city by toll road.
- Jakarta Barat
- The nearest part of Jakarta to us. The Jakarta-Tangerang toll road enters the city here, so this is the shortest trip for our team and for a car owner driving to the workshop.
- Jakarta Pusat
- Reached on the same toll road, then the inner city toll road. The hour named above is measured from central Jakarta.
- Jakarta Selatan
- Reached through the Jakarta outer ring road, or through Serpong and Bintaro. TopGolf in Fatmawati, one of the two projects above, is in Jakarta Selatan.
- Jakarta Utara
- Reached on the Jakarta-Tangerang toll road, then north on the ring road. Farther than the west and the centre of the city, but still our own team, not a partner.
- Jakarta Timur
- The farthest district from Tangerang. Our team reaches it on the outer ring road. The process is the same as everywhere else in Jakarta: a scheduled survey for a building, and the workshop in Tangerang for a car.

- South of the office, on the Jakarta-Serpong toll road.

- In Tangerang Selatan, on the side of the area nearer to Jakarta, reached through Serpong or through the outer ring road.
- Kota Tangerang
- Where the office and the workshop are. A car owner in Tangerang has the shortest drive to the workshop.

Why glass in Jakarta needs dealing with
Heat all year
Jakarta has no cool season. The glass takes solar heat every working day, all year.
Traffic means hours in the car
Time spent in the cabin in Jakarta is long. A cooler cabin and less glare are felt every day, not occasionally.
Glass buildings pay twice
First as heat entering through the glass, then as electricity to cool the room again.

Do you come to Jakarta Selatan?
Yes. Our own team covers all five Jakarta districts, including Jakarta Selatan, from the office in Tangerang. For a building or a house, we come to you for a scheduled, paid survey and again for the installation. For a car, you come to our workshop in Tangerang.
How much time does the distance add?
For a building or a house, the distance adds no time for you. Our team travels from Tangerang to you, and the survey and the installation are set for a time you agree. For a car, you make the trip: the workshop is in Cikokol, Tangerang, about an hour from central Jakarta by toll road, and less than an hour from Jakarta Barat. You come once, for the installation.
Can you fit car film in a mall or office car park?
No. Car film is fitted at our workshop in Tangerang. Dust between the film and the glass stays there for as long as the film is on the car, and a car park has dust, wind and other cars. The workshop is indoors and clean, and the same technicians fit every car. Send us your car model on WhatsApp and we quote from the model and the film you choose.
Do you work on weekends?
Saturday is a normal working day for us: our hours are 09:00 to 18:00 WIB, Monday to Saturday, and WhatsApp is answered in those hours. For a building, the work sequence and timing are agreed at the survey, including work outside normal hours if that suits the building.
Is the survey paid?
Yes. The survey is a scheduled, paid visit. We measure the glass, check which way each side faces, and name a film per side. The quote follows from it. Asking questions on WhatsApp costs nothing.
What about an apartment in Jakarta?
An apartment follows the building process: a scheduled, paid survey, then the quote, then installation by our own team. Many apartments have glass on one side only, so the survey names the film for that one side. Before the visit, ask the building management what they require from a contractor, for example a work permit or the names of the technicians, and send it to us.
Which film for a west-facing apartment?
Nano HD, in most cases. It stops the most heat of the range and keeps the clearest view, and a west-facing facade is the use we publish for it. West glass receives the afternoon sun, when the air outside is already at its hottest. If daytime privacy matters more than the view, Nano Silver is the reflective option. The survey confirms the choice on the glass itself.
In Jakarta, is the work done by your own team or by a partner?
Our own team, in all of Jabodetabek. Partners are used only for cities outside that area. Same film, same method, same e-warranty in both cases.
