About us
The right film for the job, proven before you buy.
NanoShade is a South African window film brand with its head office in Tangerang, Indonesia. It was founded by three partners: a window film specialist with sixteen years in the industry, an engineer, and a marketing specialist. Two are South African, one Indonesian.

Why we started NanoShade.
After years working in Indonesia, two of us kept seeing the same thing. Good film was priced like a luxury. Cheap film was sold with promises the film could not meet. Either way the customer paid twice: once at install, again when the film failed or the heat stayed.
The industry had also stopped developing. Little research, little product development, and almost no interest in the customer after payment. Most brands show you every film they sell and ask you to choose one.
We did the opposite. Honest value, published numbers, and a person who explains the choice to you before you spend anything.

Four steps, in this order, every time. Nothing is charged until the last one.
01DemoYou hold the film and feel the heat lamp test. You feel the difference between the films instead of reading it.
02AssessWe look at the car or the windows, which side gets the sun, and what actually bothers you.
03GuideWe tell you which film fits, and which one you do not need. Sometimes that is the cheaper film.
04DecideYou choose with the numbers in front of you, so nobody regrets the decision a year later.
Where the film comes from
Built for strong sun, and for crime.
NanoShade is a South African brand. South Africa has very strong sun and a serious crime problem, so film there has to do two jobs: keep the heat out, and keep the window shut when somebody attacks it. Safety film is not an extra in that market, it is standard.
We brought that experience to Indonesia. The heat rejection is made for the tropics, and the safety range is the part most local suppliers barely understand.

01No pressure, no fake discountsOne honest price. No countdown offers, no today-only pressure, and we do not contact you again after you say no.
02Never oversellIf the entry film solves your problem, we say so. Selling you a film you do not need costs us the next customer.
03Our people or our partnersOwn team in the main cities. Everywhere else, technicians we vetted, trained and certified. Nobody else touches your windows.
04Publish the numbersVLT, IRR, UV and TSER for every shade, on the page and in the datasheet. Estimates say est. Missing datasheets say in progress.
